Okay, so Haruka messed up.
She promised Michiru she'd pick her up after rehearsal today. She's got this big concert coming up, joined by a pretty famous string trio, so they've been practicing together until late in the evening. (Haruka doesn't care for the guy on the cello one bit, but that's neither here nor there.)
She was supposed to be there at half past seven, see, but she got a little held up. Namely, she could only find a parking spot a little further down the street, and it was raining, and on her way to the conservatorium she just happened to run into a gaggle of younger girls from their school, all of whom just insisted for Haruka-sempai to share an umbrella with them, and it became a bit of a scene. You know, the way it tends to happen when you place Haruka in the vicinity of girls.
So yes, she kind of left her girlfriend stranded in the rain to flirt with a group of underclasswomen. She gets how that's not, like, super great.
But they've been home for more than half an hour already and Michiru is still giving her the cold shoulder. She's apologized, like, twice! How long is she going to hold this against her?
(Michiru's all-time record is two weeks, but she's determined not to let it come to that.)
"Michiru." Sidling up to her perch on the living room sofa, Haruka plants a steaming mug in front of her stone-faced girlfriend, and dons her most endearing smile. "I made tea. English breakfast, one sugar. Just the way you like it."
She'll win her over, one way or the other. She always does.
